  1. Are the property listings here still available / updated?
    • We understand there are many real estate websites / portals which lists thousands of listings but if you call up to enquire about the properties, they are always either "RENTED OUT" or "SOLD ALREADY".
    • The properties on our website are submitted manually by our advertisers (takes time and effort).
    • Since advertisers need to pay to post property listings on our website, they are unlikely to waste money posting nonsensical advertisements.
    • Our system ensures that the advertisers enter-in as much details as possible (and we also encourage them to submit as many photos as possible).
    • So, using the submission system, together with benefits for advertisers to have updated / detailed information about their properties, we hope to reduce the numbers of so-called "fake / blind ads".
    • Sometimes, the advertisers may leave the property ads running (even if the exact unit is no longer available) because they have something very similar and it saves them the hassle of producing a totally new advertisement when both property's configurations are quite alike.
    • But you can be assured that you won't see hundreds of advertisements telling you they have "all the properties in Singapore" and asking you to call.

  2. Should I get in touch with IT Realtor regarding the properties I see on your website?
    • Please DO NOT contact us if you have queries about the properties listed here. IT Realtor does not handle the properties, we provide the ONLINE PLATFORM FOR property agents and home owners to advertise and for general public to view the properties (with as much details as possible).
    • Kindly get in touch directly with the advertisers (owners or agents directly) if you have queries with regards to the available properties on our website.

  1. What's your service all about?
    • ITRealtor provides all internet users with a fast and easy-to-use platform for searching and posting properties online.
    • Most of our current subscribers are Property Agents based in Singapore. A small number of Home Owners also list their properties with us, either to Rent Out or For Sale.
    • Using our system to market your property online, main advantages include
      • Getting direct clients / enquiries
      • Getting enquiries from potential clients who are still overseas (Note: They DO NOT have easy access to our Singapore newspapers / classifieds ads) - meaning you have "1st-mover" advantage in introducing your properties to the client
      • Having your properties available for viewing 24/7. Even if on-site viewing appointments cannot be scheduled, potential clients can get a feel by viewing online, whilst waiting for a on-site viewing, simply for confirmation
      • Lower marketing cost as compared to the standard media of advertising such as Newspapers, Magazine

  2. How do I sign up? Payment method? How does the listing system work?
    • Sign up / register here
    • Payment via Credit Card (through Paypal)
    • You can choose from any of the packages we have - each package will show the "NUMBER OF CONCURRENT LISTINGS" you can have on our website at any one time. All packages come with a subscription period of 6 months. Therefore, after 6 months, if you wish to continue, your Credit Card will be charged again for the same amount. If you do not wish to continue, you can cancel through us, or terminate directly via your Paypal account.

  3. How is the response? Will I be assured of enquiries?
    • Of course we cannot provide you with a 100% guarantee that you will have enquiries for your listings, but do rest assured that if you post your property listing on our website, the results will be as good as, if not better than most of the online Singapore property portals currently available because we enjoy PAGE 1 positions for many common search terms (via search engines) when users look for Singapore properties.
    • We also constantly submit property listings into other popular real estate portals such as ADPOST, CRAIGSLIST and so on. Therefore, not only does your listing appear on our site, it will also be available in those websites which we post to.

  1. Why did the recent update take almost a month?
    • There have been some key advancements since our original system was started in 2003, 1st major upgrade in late 2004. We decided that it was time to get an entirely new system in to take full advantage of these advancements and hopefully these will further help our subscribers to attract even more customers, whilst also rectifying the loopholes that were bugging in the old system.

  2. Is the system upgrade fully completed?
    • As long as you see the "beta" sign on our main logo, it means the site is still under testing mode. It is stable enough for public access but we will still be seeking ways to make it even better (in terms of user-friendliness, load time, security, stability, site aesthetics, etc).

  3. Can I proceed to post new property listings now?
    • Yes, you can post new property listings. Please check your email for USER ID and PASSWORD. You may find the input structure slightly different from the past system. Do not worry, it's built to be more dynamic than in the past, so simply "trial-and-error" and we are sure you will be able to get a hang of it very easily.

  4. What about the credits I had with you?
    • For all customers who had credits remaining in our system, you will receive an email from us, informing you of your USER ID and PASSWORD. The USER ID would not have changed. Only the PASSWORD has been reset. Similar to the old system, you can login to the Admin Panel to change your password, or personalise your account.
    • All remaining credits will continue to be usable. However, as our subscription system is now "period-based" rather than "unit-based", the credits are no longer as important (it now represents the NUMBER OF CONCURRENT LISTINGS you can have on our website).

  5. What happened to the property listings that were in the previous system?
    • As this upgrade consisted major changes in the database configuration, it wasn't possible for us to use the information from those property listings.
    • All past property listings have been removed but you now enjoy even more complementary listing credits (information as per notice email sent to you)

  6. Are there any special features that I should take note of when inserting new listings?
    • The new database is set up to accommodate more "CATEGORIES / CLASSES" of properties, such as
      • Rooms Rental
      • Short-Term Lease
      • Commercial-Type Properties
    • Furnishings - more detailed - allows you to tick-off from a range of standard household furnishings
    • Photos - 10 images allowed per listing, MAX IMAGE WIDTH set at 700px (to allow larger and more detailed images)
